So I've read lots of posts about side loading apps (I'm new to both blackberry and playbook) and have downloaded DDPB to sideload apps onto my playbook. I can connect and have made sure developer mode is on etc. My laptop runs the DDPB application fine and if I choose "run on installation" option I can get whatever app it is to come up on the playbook but if I close it I can't find it again. There is no icon for the newly installed app on the menu page where the rest of the icons are. Am I doing something wrong? HELP!

Have you tried with no check in run on installation?

Have you scrolled down the page - new icons get installed below all the others. To scroll downward on the homepage, swipe UPward to reveal icons lower down on the page. Generally, they should not be on the second panel (revealed by scrolling right which means swipe Left)
