Like the title says I want a playbook I have wanted one since they came out.
Missed the OD sale.... rep said they would contact me never did. Walmart is $169.00 and Ebay and Craiglist sellers think it is made of gold.

All I want is one for around $100 I do not care if it is the 16gb. If New around $125-135 target price.
If used no more than $100.00 would go for a 32gb but the idea here is to not spend a ton.

Any ideas? I may go for the Walmart 32gb if I have no other choice.
I went to 3 office depots and they were just rude and nasty about it.

If you're in Canada though, just walk into a Best Buy it Future Shop, they have the 32GB models selling for $129 - $149

I don't think there are 16GB models left anywhere. You can only find them use now on eBay, Craigslist, Kijiji, etc

In Canada, Walmart, Staples, Futureshop, Best Buy and The source, all have Playbook and accessories sales going on right now.

For used, there is eBay, ebay classifieds, Craigslist and Kijiji.

I am not sure where you are located, but you could try their counterparts in your area.

I bit the bullet and shelled out $500 for my 16g at launch and have never regretted it nor looked back. This amazing device has brought me nothing but daily joy. I suggest, if it's possible, to just "invest in your happiness" and expand your spending cap? Also, email some of the Ebay sellers and make an offer! And check the "for sale" forums. And lastly, as we get closer to Christmas, I'm sure some deals will come along. Check the CB Forums everyday (this is how I found a great deal on my new 64g: $120!). Good luck and when you do finally get yours, post back with some Playbook Love!

I did amazon, got it the next day. A friend of mine used walmart a week or two ago and still hasn't received theirs.

I should have just paid when it was $129 + tax (My mistake)..... I just hate overpaying when some vendor could get a bunch in a week and blow them out. To pay $130 for used is a joke in my opinion on Ebay

I suggest look for bundle deal. If you intend to get a Playbook look for one with a case and rapid charger or if you want a keyboard and rapid charger. A rapid charger is a must if you intend to own a Playbook. If you factor in the prices on the bundle deal, the Playbook usually cost much less than the unit alone.

If you buy new this week, and the store drops their prices again next week or the week after, most will refund you the difference. I know some stores will refund you if other stores drop their prices (retroactive price matching).

I totally get trying to stay on budget and thinking about possible lower prices in a few weeks. Go with the refund suggested above. I paid more for my PBs, and the price went WAY down. But then, I had my PB to enjoy rather than waiting, and that is certainly worth something. I wouldn't trade it for anything. You are going to LOVE your PB, and with BB10 coming it will almost be like getting a new tablet for free. Nobody is getting anything that great on other tabs ... they have to buy the new tab. You will find the PB weaving itself into your life with more and more uses you didn't anticipate. It is truly great.
