Where to buy playbook?

I have one playbook but want one maybe two more. Unfortunately I can't find any in stock anywhere. And I mean across Canada searching. I'm in Kelowna, B. C. Does anyone know ANYONE that has stock on them? I'm hoping someone will tell me their local walmart has some or something. Also, has anyone heard if they (RIM) will be producing more PB's? Thanks!

I think you are SOL buddy, I lucked out a week ago and found 1 at London Drugs in Surrey. I think I got the last 1 in the lower mainland. Also check to source

I was in Walmart in Bowmanville, Ontario on Saturday and noticed a couple of 64gb's for sale at $178 there! Tempting for sure but already have two so I argued with myself for a bit and left. If you want me to pick it up for you, pm me and we can work something out if still available

The OP is in Canada. Cowboom does not ship outside the U.S.

Staples online is sold out. I currently have a kid at the walmart Kelowna calling bowmanville to see if they'll ship one up here to me. Fingers crossed.

I saw the same two locked in a glass case this morning. The first one had a note attached saying "OPEN" however the second one was still sealed! Just thought i would give you a heads up! Good luck and if you have any trouble, don't hesitate to get in touch with me

So I've found a couple local people selling used playbooks. They all claim "only used an hour or two!". They're asking a decent price. Any suggestions on what I should be wary of buying used? I'd have to do a full wipe I would presume. Thanks for everyones help!

If according to what they said that "only used an hour or two" may be it still in waranty times.
You should check carefully to ensure all features work well . That 's all cuz you can send it to RIM if it have other problems

make sure they're not blacklisted at RIM, Or you will be SOL! also check for usual wear N tear that's all I can think of

Download Display Test from appworld for free and check for pixel problems. Tap the screen in the app and it will change colors so you can see if anything is amiss. Look in the usb port. There should be a connector near the bottom of the middle port. It should be relatively level and not bent/slanted up/down.

A bulge on the back is NOT unusual.

OP. You may want to hold off until the launch of the BB10 phones. If they announce a new PB then people may be selling the old ones cheaper, or you can at least use that information to haggle down.
Also, if the release of a new PB is in the near future you may want to save your money.

If you find a steal then go for it, if not I would wait it out for another week.

That's what I'm wondering, if there will be more playbooks. Everywhere I go I ask and no one knows. I've emailed RIM directly with no luck. I'm willing to wait if they're going to produce more.

I'm trying to but another one for a birthday present, in hamilton ont. no luck at all other than kijiji. I'd like to find a new one if possible, 16 or 32. if anyone finds one please! let me know

yup I seen it, tons of used playbooks to be had but as I said I'm still hoping upon hope I can get a new one from a store in town or close enough to drive. must admit though, it seems I'll have to give up that pipedream and hit kijiji.
