OK here is a poll about when we think the Playbook will be released. Someone requested it so I took the ball and ran with it. I THINK I got all the dates we have heard. If I forgot anything let me know and I can add it. Plus we have the catch all, Later options too.

I went with March 27 because the reasoning of "the OEM accessories are shipping March 28" seemed like the most reliable source... Kind of sad, but it did seem a whole lot more reliable than some random person saying "It will be xxxx". The fact that it's the earliest one is just a happy coincidence.

It seems pointless to guess so I'm not going to, but I check in here every morning hoping to see a major announcement for PB release dates, or any bit of news about Storm 3. Looks like it will be a long wait for my next new phone to arrive... major bummer but I'll still wait.

I hope hope hope it is the 27th and at 12:00am. I have off on the 28th and half of tuesday off. It will give me plenty of time to play with it. Going to my sons swimming lesson for the first time, (my first not his) and I would really love to see and use some of its capabilites right away. Learning through experience is always fun.

Of course if I have to read the directions they will probably be stored on the unit where I wouldn't beable to find them.

The first credible date I have heard is the 27th of this month. Nothing set in stone.... And as you well know RIM is saying nothing....

I hope its the 27th, or some other Sunday or maybe Saturday, because I've been waiting (im)patiently for this thing since last summer (we all knew about it before they fessed up in september) and I am seriously thinking of taking that day off work. Will be first in line at wherever I can buy it closest to where I live.

Well I heard from a reliable source end of March/Q1 ;P. Unfortunately at this point sources mean nothing, because I'm fairly sure every one of these possible release dates have some source saying "this is when it will be because..."

Amazing how much optimism there is for 50% (at the time of this post) of people to think that it's the soonest of the options. Hopefully RIM will fulfill and it will be then if not sooner!

When i won a BB Bold from CB, UPS lost it. If you keep telling everyone you won a PB UPS will 'lose' yours too :P

It'll be hilarious if it really gets released on the 1st. No backup to the date just for the sake of a rumor and it ends up being correct that'd be pretty tight.
