Default When tethering the PB, my BB phone can't receive BBM messages

When tethering, the "bb logo" besides the signal bar disappear, thus unable to receive any new messages like BBM, pushed email or Whatsapp

It happen recently, do u guys ever experience this problem?

    I use Starhub, Singapore

It works by changing the ip solo mode to Disable. It can be changed from Engineering Screen, type alt+shift+h (for bold) then generate the keycode by using this site: bluefirebox.com
Type in the keycode (you wont be able to see it) to enter engineering screen
    Then follow these options
Multi-WAF Engineering Screens -> Tunnel Engineering Screen -> IP Modem Solo Mode: DISABLED

Restart your devices, both preferably. If your problem sticks on.. then I suggest you reinstall the operating system

It sounds like you need to disable IP Modem Solo Mode...its quite fiddly but we'll explained in a few places - have a search for it...worked for me.

don't teather linking via the bridge does it automaticallly if you teather your phone to your playbook instead it turns it into a modem and thats all it does. it's there mainly in my opinion for people who own a playbook but not a blackberry handset and want to get it on the net without wifi.
