What is the bulge issue? I have had mine since 4/18 and I have never noticed any kind of bulge forming, or had any heat issues. Maybe some folks are catching some defective units that need to be replaced?
I think the "bulge" thing is merely talking about how the rear of the case, where the logo is, over the CPU and motherboard, may be bulging out a bit on some units. My original has it ever so slightly, so it will "spin" on a table like a bottle on its side.
I've never heard of anyone claiming this "bulge" gets bigger over time, however, and it seems very unlikely it does. I think it's merely a bit of a warp in what is probably some metal shielding that doubles as heat-sinking, over the most active areas of the motherboard. I never saw it as a problem, though apparently it bulged so much on some that a few people got theirs replaced under RMA.
