Just thought I would pose this question. I love my 7inch PB. However with the introduction of BB10 on it's way and I hope it's awesomeness. A PlayBook with the new technology would be ideal. I'm thinking 9inch. So what do you guys think?

I,d love to see a new 7" with identical styling to the BB10 touch phone.

Better specs, lighter, slimmer. A new rebranded name and BB10 at $299. Marketed properly and relaunched, it would be an excellent partner to the phone with bridging.

Then perhaps a 10" later, unless the whole market has moved to the 7" form factor by then.

I love the 7" for many reasons, but I would like a 9" or 10" size as well as, not instead of. In my perfect world, we get both and with BB10 OS they two formats bridge together with each other as well as the phones.
Would be fun for some games and apps, and multitasking. Too much to ask for?

I would actually really like something about 13 inches; once you start getting bigger than 7, it's really not portable so you might as well go laptop size.

No size change needed for me. The current size is ideal for my needs. If I needed larger I would have purchased a larger tablet.

What I really would like to see is a trackpad like on the phone to have an actual mouse pointer. My fingers are just too fat to click some links occasionally. I have used on several occasions my BB phone's mouse bridge feature for this purpose.

I've been playing a lot of games on it lately, and I still think the 7" form factor is really good. Maybe they could bump it up to 8 or 8.5, but for playing games, it's really a great size. It's also nice to be able to bring it out places and not look like a doofus, holding a huge tablet.

After using various form factors I concluded that my perfect tablet should be 8 inch with slightly less bezel. And weight distribution as in Sony's Tablet S would be nice.
However, I need 8" only because my eyes are weaker now. 5 years ago I could be happy with 7 or even 6".

I've been waiting for the "PB mini" for a while. I cant wait to bridge it to my "Big PB"; which is hopefully going beyond 48" over the holidays!

The 7" size is perfect for portability. I put it in my purse and can take it everywhere. I think the biggest I would like the Playbook to be is between 8"-9" if they were to make it bigger...otherwise I might as well drag my laptop with me everywhere and that is not going to happen!

I like the present screen size and the heft of it, but ideally, shrink the bezel so the external size is a bit smaller.

Id like to see a blown up version of the PB now, in terms of design.

10" Super high res. screen 9" viewable w/bezel (2560x1600)
Thinner design, similar materials, loose a little weight(but not enough to loose the rugged/premium feel/build)
Tegra 4/S4 SoC powerplant
2GB of DDR2/3L
16/32/64gb flavors, add micro SD slot
wifi-n/bluetooh 4.0/NFC upgrade
Upgrade Dock connector to allow data transfer
upgrade camera(s) 8 or 10mp on back/ 2mp up front
add a couple more gesture options- swipe for vol. control, lock screen (maybe this will already be addressed in BB10)

It would def. sell at the same price points as a modern 10in tablet, however with the abilities the PB has now, and soon BB10 to drive it- Id buy it fast, and put things like a nexus 10 to shame. Hopefully apps will scale a little better at first, until they(Devs) can write the app(s) to scale upwards as well. Being its only a 9" viewable, the breakup in the app/picture would not appear as drastic. Thus keeping that more to that polished look the PB now has.

The 7" is perfect for on the go, just re-vamp that one as is!

This being the 10" will appeal to those at home on the couch, presentations, and overall easier viewing for doc. editing, database, spreadsheets, etc..

I want the 7 to grow to about 7.9 and then make one bigger than 10. Maybe around the 13 inch range to help differentiate it from the competition.

I have it and it's almost exactly the same height and width as the PlayBook. But less bezel so more screen. The PlayBook size is perfect. Just needs less bezel.
