I am a very happy user of my PB with my BB 9810 and am using the "special" bridge for AT&T customers so that I have the use of the PB when out of a Wi-Fi area. Will the download of update 2.0.1.358 have an impact of the "relationship" of the PB and the BB9810? Things are working too well to upset the apple cart for a couple of minor improvements.

    Thanks for your input.

The Bridge app on your phone controls that, not the OS on the PlayBook.

Provided you always use rroyy's Bridge releases when Bridge is updated, you should be fine.

That is an excellent question. I checked and it is the same version (2.0.1.358) as I am being informed is available as 1mb update. What am I missing?

Not sure, since me say a bug fixes, some say a bug reporting app but not sure anyone really knows. I still haven't got this mystery 1mb update on the beta OS.

It's either a bug report or a patch. And it will do nothing to Bridge whatsoever.

I've had NO updates on either .358 or beta .840. Odd?

Depends on how you look at it... I only got the 1mb patch after it was no longer news here... May be rolling out in waves, by PIN number or whatever mysterious way RIM deemed to... We're not even sure what it does after all.

    Maybe we don't want it?

Oh, that's for sure. While I do check when I see a thread on the issue, I would not necessarily press the UPDATE button. I'm remaining back from updates until they have clearly been tested by the PIONEERS!

I'm on 2.0.1.668 PB on AT-T and I have no problems with bridge over my 9900. Bridge version 2.0.0.35 from rroyy.

My resolve improved with .668. I was up in Victoria and the wifi was poor so I did not chance it. Then I started to read about the problems. Now I will wait. But, I, too, am curious about what they are pushing out to SOME folks.

While I have 840 on the replacement 32gig, it is not the one I turn to for regular use. I tend to call that the old 32 but since it was a replacement is is actually newer with many fewer charges on it. I did install those two new games announced yesterday but have not looked at them. I did grab Sherlock Holmes on it, too.
