Default What causes variances in Android player start time?

I am on 2.0.1 and I noticed varied amounts of time that it takes for the android player to start up. Sometimes it only takes a couple of seconds and other times it takes more like 15-20. I also noticed the graphic changes after a bit. Usually after a reboot it takes very quick to start. With 2.0 it seemed like when it took a long time to initialize then it would stop working but it doesn't seem to be that way for me now.

I was just curious if anyone knew

If it takes more than 4-5 seconds its the Android runtime initializing.

And the good news is that, with 2.1, you'll rarely need to reboot in order to re-initialize the Android VM. I've seen it "fix" itself on several occasions where an app had terminated poorly and screwed-up the runtime. Seems much more reliable now, especially with the multi-windowing support for Android apps. Can't wait for the final build...
