Bridge over wifi doesn't exist yet, but when it does it will provide a faster bridge connection.
Bridge is awesome in so many ways, but my favorite is that I can disconnect all my important data and emails when I want to. Having all my contacts and emails on the PlayBook is great, but then when a friend, or a little kid, wants to look at the PlayBook or play games I can disconnect it and then they can't go through all my stuff.
Free internet wherever I go is nice too. -

So distance from source is an advantage for wifi bridge.
Are there any other advantages?
I'm thinking that using bluetooth bridge means that the internet data you use on your PB is 'scrunched' (yeah I don't know how to describe it differently) so that data usage is minimal compared to non blackberry connected use of the internet.
Is that clear thinking?Here's looking at you

Wifi not possible, but:
Advantages of wifi:
* Faster, longer range, connect via router (connected to multiple devices)
Disadvantages of wifi:
* Uses more power
