When holding the playbook in landscape zero issues. When I turn the playbook to portrait the screen dims, or it actually appears to dim when I am wearing sunglasses. And my sunglasses are prescription.

There is zero noticeable different with my glasses off or wearing normal glasses.

I know it is weird but what could the reason be? Just curious.

I figured but why only 1 orientation. Also I am not sure if they are polarized or not. I got them over 4 years ago and I forgot what I got.

Yup, polarized sunglasses. Happens with anything LCDish.
