So the prices are indeed going up to normal. Walmart had the Playbook for $298 (no gift card purchase required) until yesterday. Plus you could get BlackBerry Playbook accessories at a discount if you bundled them with the Playbook.

Bought a playbook for my daughter online from Walmart this morning with a $200 giftcard for 498.00. Wondering why it will not be ready for store pickup until the 28th. Is it possible it will come installed with 2.0? Doubt it but will find out details tomorrow.
