Walmart is showing the playbook 32GB for $159.00 how do I know if I'm getting the LTE one. and will that matter if I'm on sprint network.
or was it just a software update with the email and others thing that were left off the original launch.

Not sure what country you are in but US web site shows $169 for the 32Gb WiFi model.

The LTE version is not sold in the US yet. In the few markets it is sold in, the price is not that cheap. When it was introduced in Canada, it was reportedly sold without a contract for $549 CAD (I assume the 4G LTE is still that price) and when it does hit the US market, it's likely to be at that same price point.

really depends on what you want it for.

email and browser are pretty good

ereader options are a little limited

apps. . . search the fourms to see what is avilable. not a lot

there are hopes that BB10 will be coming and improve the PlayBook experience

Are you kidding me? You are asking if $159.00 for 32 gb is a good price? If you don't know that answer yourself there is a problem. Maybe you should compare that price to the original $599.00 price.

Okay well, it is $169 and the Wi-Fi Only version, the $159 deal expired in Nov. BlackBerry PRD-38548-002 PlayBook 7" Touchscreen Tablet - Walmart.com Upon searching BlackBerry site, it says "4G/4G LTE model available soon in the United States". The LTE version would be described as 4G LTE vice Wi-Fi Only. If you have a blackberry phone capable of utilizing the bridge feature (looks like you have a 9930), then you would be able to email, text, bbm and many other features. Has nothing to do with Sprint Network. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlackBerry_PlayBook

    The good:

    Solid hardware and build quality
Superb e-mail functionality and social networking integration
    Easy-to-use interface with touch-sensitive bezels
Good speakers on each side for watching video or music listening
    Vivid display for reading e-books
    Flash has been fixed
Simple to back up and keep synced with your computer

    The bad:

    Still no expandable storage
OS can be finicky at times
Official apps from A-list third-party developers not available for Playbook (Skype, Netflix)

BB10 is being built upon the existing Playbook QNX OS and since current BB OS 6/7 phones can currently bridge with a QNX Playbook, they should continue to do so when it updates to BB10, which will not be until some point in time after the BB10 phones are released.

I've been trying to pick up a 2nd playbook for the last month or so...stores in my area have been out of stock, lots of stores online claiming PB in stock but not when I call the store.

Last week Walmart.ca had an online sale for the 64gb @178 cdn, I ordered it Thursday and it came today.
