    Hi,

    Just plugged my PlayBook in to my laptop to sync - so it started a backup, which I let it progress.

    However, my laptop (almost 3-years old) is shaky at best (possibly an issue with the CMOS battery or Flash player - not really relevant...) and appears to have switched itself off part way through the backup.

    I've recovered things so that my PlayBook and laptop are talking again (another backup...) but as my laptop disk only has around 17Gb at best left available, I kinda feel the need to try and lose the backup that failed.

    Anyone please know:
    - If this is possible/feasible/a really dumb idea;
    - Where Vista stored the PlayBook back files; and
    - How I delete the failed backup without corrupting BB Desktop or any other legitimate backup?

    Thanks,
    T

    Normally, you should find backups under "My documents/blackberry/save".

    I think it would be prudent to do the following.
    1/ cut/paste at least last 2 backups of any BB device you have (rely on backups names and date) into another folder (on your desktop for convenience)
    2/ Delete all backups in the backup folder
    3/ Run a full backup again for every device
    4/ If backups succeed, delete the folder on you desktop and empty your trash.
