Does anyone know if this will be implimented to blackberry world on the playbook. In the uk I have not bee able to find a single app to buy or rent films from.

when the news came out that bb10 blackberry world was getting music and video store I got really excited. I don't have bb10 at the monent. I currently have a bold 9900 and my trusty playbook. just need more sorces to be able to watch films.

The video store app has all the same content as BB World.

Ahhhh, welcome to the wonderful world of digital rights/copyright. I don't believe there has been any official video for Blackberry in Europe. I know that there is no native podcast player in European versions that we have standard in North America that is apparently due to rights/copyright issues of some sort. So the likely answer is that you're out of luck.
