Video store movie fail
I purchased Immortals through the BB video store (my first purchase there). The movie downloaded fine, however the movie will play for about 15 minutes then the tablet freezes and restarts. I've tried several times playing from the video store and the BB videos with the tablet in showcase, default and paused all with the same result at the same point in the movie.
I've contacted Rovi but I have the patients of an epileptic surgeon so I'm asking here. Has anyone experienced this or more importantly does anyone have a fix?

It may be that something is running in the background and using your RAM.
Have you tried rebooting the PB? Or power off for around 4 minutes? And what percentage do you show for your battery? - 04-29-2012, 07:35 PM #4
I have a few movies purchased through the video store. No problems. I play them via HDMI most times. Maybe there is an issue with that file. I would try another video to see if you get the same result. If you contact RIM they should issue a refund.

Yes, I've tried rebooting. The battery is over 80%. I've also tried it plugged in. Thanks for the responses.
As a follow up; I contacted Roxio about this issue at 7:30pm on a Sunday. I got a response in under 30 minutes (with more questions)! When you get good customer service you should tell anyone willing to hear.I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure. - 05-01-2012, 06:52 AM

RESOLUTION;
First, I cant say enough good things about the customer support of Roxio. Sunday nights quick response resulted in a refund of the $20 I paid for the movie after an attempt to diagnose.
It turns out this was all my fault. As I mentioned before I have little patients. I started downloading the movie from home before church, paused it, and finished up at my office. After tech support, I re-purchased the same movie and did a download from home without pausing it. It all works well now.Last edited by reschp; 05-01-2012 at 06:53 AM. Reason: Spelling
