Is anyone having the same problem? The severity of the issue is random and sometimes gets a little better (although still exists) when I restart the program.

I seem to recall having that issue a couple times too. It would usually happen if I quickly seeked to a different spot in the the video, but usually rewinding or fastfowarding a little bit would fix it. I was also having issues before having slightly choppy framerates with .avi files, but it appears less often now. You might want to send an email using the free 90-day support on the Blackberry website. I've gone through a few issues with them and they've been very helpful

I seem to be having the same problem especially when using an HDMI cable. It is very random but if you forward or rewind it definitely makes it worse.

Well i'm glad I'm not the only one. So I guess I'm not the only one with this problem. Hopefully they come out with a solution in the next update soon.
