    I haven't updated to 1088 yet, I just see the notification at the top if my screen all the time. But this morning I noticed that the size took a jump from 78 to 234 MBytes. Anyone know why and whether Rim has changed some factors regarding the update? Thanks.

    mine also showing 228 mb now. earlier it was about 70 mb

    I don't use playbook too much. a few days back I had visited crackberry and saw some negative feedback. so I withheld. today I am visiting again and saw this thread. so thought of replying.

    want to ask : how is the version 1088 ?

    This is valid for any OS release: if you have issues,backup, wipe, restore.

    No reason not to update.

    It's fine as far as I'm concerned. I understand that some people had issues (usually user related), but I've had none. It's a great tablet that I use for at least an hour a day. My laptop has stayed at the office since I got it. No complaints here.

    No issues here, update you might just end up using the PB more.

    I didn't upgrade for fear of losing one very important app for me: TextPlus. It's the only way I can text my family and I previously lost one version of it when I upgraded. I'm also very happy with 1032. But can anyone explain the increase in MBs from one day to the next?
