Could be your router or supplier. Try rebooting back to server and reconnecting back to router in that order allowing restart time at each step. Try another wifi device to see if it can log on. Go to another wifi system if you can and see if that works.
Bought a used playbook today, already have one but my son cracked the screen. Did a security wipe and proceeded to setup only to be stuck in this nasty circle from wireless setup to cannot connect to update server 65792. Cannot connect to DT as it tells me the setup is not complete. Is the server down or is it something im doing?
They have intentionally taken the servers down to release some sort of an update
There is some sort of technical glitch causing this
They have cut access of the playbook to the servers as part of end of life
The longer they stay down the less likely #1 becomes and the more likely #3 becomes. I hope it's not #3...if so there are going to be sure lot of people selling bricks on ebay...
They can't just take down the server as given the OS that bricks every playbook you attempt to restore! That would be a error ever Blackberry couldn't make. I did a security wipe on mine and it's in server down mode. The idea that they'd let you just brick your Playbook is unimaginable.
Although even with the autoloader (if I can find one) it will check for updates after installing, fail to find the server and be stuck unusable again, won't it?

No, it will give you the option of checking later, and you might only have the browser and have to sideload the other native apps
And me too, Sea. I get the feeling it's the final shaft.
