Hello.

For the past three hours I have been trying to get my 9800 to pair with my Playbook. Everytime i try, i get an error message that an error has occured (permission denied) and to please try again. I have tried this with the password disabled on my BB as well as the wireless and carrier signals on and off. I have no idea what else to try. Does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks in advace!

I have the same problem. I even downgraded my bb OS still nothing.

Had the same problem with my 9780. Went out and bought another PlayBook. We will see if it's the phone, or the PlayBook shortly.

There is another thread (can't find the link) where someone said RIM has acknowledged a problem with the 9800 and bridge... and a fix should be available shortly.

Ok- So Bridge doesn't work on the one I just bought either. Must be something with OS6.

I bridged a 9650 w/OS6 perfectly fine.

Update OS on Torch from 6.0.0.526 to 6.0.0.534 and Bridge then worked, don't know if there are other issues yet.

Thank you everyone for the updates. At least I know I am not going crazy lol. Well I guess I will be waiting for an update to software packages.
