Docs to Go should already be on your PB.

Except that I don't think Docs to Go supports txt files. Try installing Ghost Commander from app world. It has its own internal text viewer.

You used to be able to read them in the Browser, but not sure if that work around still functions.

I just checked and the browser will still open text files. You access the local files by using file:// as the url. Your files will be under the user 1000 directories.

TextEdit worked best for me, having tried out a couple of other text editors on Blackberry World. Android derived, I suppose, but doesn't need sideloading.
