Turning off calender notifications

Is it possible to NOT be notified of any appointments, reminders, etc. from the Calendar? I'd like to stay sync'd with my Gmail calendar, but because I don't use my table often enough I'd rather not have the device constantly notify me until I acknowledge it. That and I don't want to have to acknowledge two notifications...

Just change the reminder to "None." Or switch the LED to "Off" and Sound to "Silent."

Unfortunately there is no "None" for the reminder unless you mean on the computer, in which case that would turn it off on my BlackBerry which I do not want to do. I can turn the sound to silent and the LED off, but the latter still keeps the "glow"... doesn't look like there's a way to completely turn off these notifications.

In the reminder field, you need to tap the value to drop down the list. Then drag your finger to scroll.

if you're referring to the actual reminders in the calendar, then that's not what i want... i would like the notification to go off on my BlackBerry phone, but not on the PlayBook...

Is there any way I can do this for every entry in the calendar or do I have to do it manually one by one?

The answer to your question is, no. Hopefully, we'll have more control over these sorts of things in future OS updates / BB10.
