Does anyone else think a trackpad would be useful on the PB?

Some might want there to be no buttons at all to have a clean look, but I think a little glowing trackpad bottom centre would look really good!

Also it would be easier to use if a website has very small buttons, or if your trying to edit text. Which is tricky to do with your finger right now.

You mean make it look functional?

Would it be preferred the playbook had only 5 inches of screen to make it seem uncluttered?

Already, there is no physical keyboard, so when you need to input text with the on-screen keyboard you have a 1970s looking 2 line teletype area of screen to see what you are doing.

I Like the PlayBook look just like it is. IMO.... a trackpad would make it look....well..fugly

I'd just like some arrow keys and tab button. Do those not exist up north? =p

If only to make text editing easier - yes. I suppose on-screen arrows would do as well, and therefore would keep the PB sleek and clean-looking.

OS2 has a much better, fine-tuned error-picking thingie to help us with mistypes. No trackpad needed.

We just need it released.

No, I don't see much of a point in it. I think it would just get in the way more often than not.

Like was said above, it is much better in OS2. Also, I've gotten much more accurate with my fingertips since using the PB for a while. A virtual trackpad, might be useful, but I can't see a physical one being useful or attractive, and especially not if it is centered in the middle...
