does torrent still exist ? I stopped using this protocole over a decade ago.
Do have a better way to download?
I have heard that aTorrent (android sideloaded) works well.
Can i sideload without a computer? My laptop got stolen so im pretty limited......
Read on LocalBAR2, that should allow you to install BAR files without a PC (but I never bothered setting it up - I'm lazy like that).
aTorrent used to give me annoying notifications all the time (on files I was not even interested anymore) so keep that in mind.
Lol, You need a computer to install Localbar2.

.torrent still exists. Just because you stopped using it doesn't make it disappear.
Gotta love the people who think just because they stop using something, it's now obsolete and useless to mankind...
I live on torrents. It's the only way to reliably enjoy U.S. TV shows while overseas. Eztv.it FTW! :D

I stopped eating pancakes since I was 10. and don't tell me that they are still selling them. I will not believe you.
Well, I like the "pb of pancakes" - Buckwheat - rare but good!
What you are looking for is crepes. It is like a thin pancake. IHOC just doesn't have a nice ring to it.
with Blackberry syrup. ^^
I'd be interested to hear about that too :)
I use Swarm which works pretty well, although it sometimes has trouble loading some torrents. It's an android app so needs to be sideloaded though
What kind of trouble if? If i may ask
the DDL is faster and more secure.
Thanks for that, gonna definitely look into this, I have been dabbling with newsgroups but I don't want to have to pay and that's what you have to do to get anything decent.
Use this DDL search engine to help you find what you are looking for:
DDLSearch | Rapidshare Megaupload search engine
Swarm has i/o compatibility issues in the playbook. Frequently, the downloaded file is corrupted and generally doesn't match the source image (per md5). The developer is aware of the problem but has yet to resolve it.

Thanks I'll give it a look, I never trusted rapidshare/megaupload before, forget why, guess I'll read up on it again.
Thanks very much for the info man :)
No problem. And to his credit, the developer has gone out of his way to try to resolve the issue, even going so far as to purchase a 16GB Playbook just so he could test Swarm for possible submission to AppWorld. Unfortunately, per my last conversation with him, personal issues were distracting from his work on a fix. However, I'm still holding out hope that he will eventually resolve the issue and give us a viable Torrent solution for the PB.

I have also tried many apps for torrents, and personally prefer to download the torrent with my laptop, and then transfer the file to the PB. Much faster on my end.
