i installed the update last night. today i updated the PB OS. my torch crashed every time i try to use any of the bridge features!?!?!?!?

i've uninstalled and reinstalled bridge having the same result. need to figure this out.....

anyone have any ideas or similar experience?

My Torch on Rogers is working fine. Did you update to the latest firmware and Bridge version on the Torch?

My Torch is on firmware 6.0.0.448, bridge 1.0.4.9.

I did exactly the same thing you did, update bridge yesterday and PB today, and everything is working as it should.

My torch is on 6.0.0.526, bridge 1.0.4.9.

I have read about similar problem on another post, look around the update posts, maybe someone figured out what's the problem. Good luck.

Ultimately i'm waiting to get the 9900 which i assume (!?!?) will be a better match for the playbook. My torch is loaded down with almost 14gigs of files and music on a 16gig sd and i feel like it's being stretched beyond what it's capable of.

faster processor and a couple of more updates and it will all be good......!

Don't have a Torch but I know that there is a new 6.0.0.600 OS update for it.
Why don't you give it a try?

Not a bad idea. if someone can post a link to download i will try it.
On the other hand it seems RIM has suspended the upgrade and say they'll have a new one by Friday.......
That may solve the entire issue......it better! LOL.
