Is there a way to change PlayBook icons?

I have loads of aesthetic inconsistencies on my PlayBook when it comes to icons and I was wondering if there is a simple way to change them. I just read a thread that teaches how to do it to unsigned BAR files but the only thing I'm good at is downloading them; I have no clue on how to make them... and even if I did I'd spend a lifetime doing it for every single one. I wish there was a way like on my Bold 9930 with Icon Manager. My custom icons are, if I may say so myself, flawless.

Without root, the only way would be to remove the signatures from BARs, change the icon, and then resign them yourself before installing. Of course, this would also require you to have access to the BARs you wanted to change the icons of.

I always keep the BAR files on my computer but I have no idea how to remove/add signatures. It's such a shame too, I made some pretty great high res custom icons. I'd rather delete apps than have them make my PlayBook look cluttered... it's that bad.
