Are there any good developer for Playbook to port Android?
When HP Touchpad fired sale for $99, a LOT of people bought it, and there probably were quite a few good developers also who bought it.
BB Playbook is selling a lot these days with the cheap pricing, but how come there is no android port from a good developer?
Also, I don't think there is much advantages of rooting the playbook OS, other than running android market, which I don't really care for.
Maybe I'm missing something, but how come rooting playbook doesn't allow adblock, changing font style, change the UI (not just theme), and other cool stuff that rooted android phones and tablets can do? Maybe there still is no good developer who purchased playbook?
Please post your opinions on the subjects above!
Thanks. - 12-01-2012, 12:27 PM #2

Android is open source. That's the big difference.
It's a lot easier for developers to tinker away at it. - 12-01-2012, 01:00 PM #3

If android is so appealing to you and customizations are vital, you are much better off with one of the Nexus tablets. Pure Google experience with all the hackabilities you want, best of all, with Google's full blessings.
