My micro USB port seems to be failing so am left charging it with the magnetic port. Since I use it for my kid to watch preloaded videos on it in the car I was wondering if there was a car adapter for the PB using the 3-pin magnetic port to change rather then micro USB?

So far I know of 2 products (oem) that utilise the magnetic port, the BlackBerry Rapid Travel Charger (don't own) and the BlackBerry Rapid Charging Stand (already own) but have yet to see a car adapter with the magnetic charging.

Not directly. You might as well try a car to wall plug adapter.

It's a little strange they don't since the 3-pin input takes 12v which is perfect for a car. With a power inverter it would be taking 12v then ramping it up to 120v then bring it back down to 12v. Seems a little backward. Does anyone know if this is a standard port and maybe another manufacture makes one? Or is this only a PB port?
