I've noticed when trying to synch a couple of videos I had that it is taking forever. The end result works fine, but it took over an hour for a 58 minute 1GB file. These I originally had ripped into my library for streaming and/or loading on my Apple TV and iPad. They are mpeg4 format (m4v extension). I assume it is doing some type of transcoding. I am synching this from Desktop manager. Could I have just dropped this on directly by hand or should I be ripping to a better native format?
