I can't belive the hardware team is sitting around idle waiting for the SW team to catch up (story of my professional life BTW!). When is holiday shopping season?

What hardware team? Didn't they outsource much of the hardware development to Quanta? RIM's internal hardware teams are probably still working on BB10 phones.
