Without reading through this thread I would say there probably is something "wrong" with you, there is with most of us. It's that streak of individualism (quirkiness) that makes human beings interesting.

I have to say, I really like the tactile feel of the Playbook, too.

Not sure what they use to produce that texture, but I'll agree that it feels great. And no, that isn't just my Playbook fanboi-ism coming out; I had an HTC Touch Windows phone a few years ago with a similar feel.

I think they sweated the details on the ergonomics for the PB.

I have the convertible case but put my PB in the cradle charger to charge and be my alarm clock. That lets me have it naked for a game or two before going to bed and yes then it is my fondle slab.

I put $70 worth of protection on my phone and tablet, only to rip them off because of the feel. I guess by the ops standards I prefer bareback as well lol
