RIM always does this. They make devices that feel comfortable or good to use or hold. And then people get paranoid about scratches and put cases on their devices, unable to feel the actual device.
So add that to the list of reasons RIM is failing

Without reading through this thread I would say there probably is something "wrong" with you, there is with most of us. It's that streak of individualism (quirkiness) that makes human beings interesting.
After reading through the thread, yeah you are batsh1t crazy, get help seriously.......
I shouldn't have to but knowing that there are humorless individuals out there forces me to add I am of course only joking.Ain't no rocket scientists in the fire hall

LOOOOOL haha I guess it is only me.. But I don't mean like... Rubbing it will make me happy kind of thing.. I meant like it's a habit.. You know when people like to click their pens, spin a pen in their hand, whistle while doing something, etc...
Lol maybe my original post sounded like I was making out with my Playbook but that wasn't what I meant ;P - 07-11-2012, 07:55 PM #14
I have to say, I really like the tactile feel of the Playbook, too.
Not sure what they use to produce that texture, but I'll agree that it feels great. And no, that isn't just my Playbook fanboi-ism coming out; I had an HTC Touch Windows phone a few years ago with a similar feel.
I think they sweated the details on the ergonomics for the PB. - 07-11-2012, 07:56 PM #15
As long as your PB consents to it.........naw, it's still weird.

Okay OP, I read your post, then all the others below it. I found myself rubbing the BB logo the whole time while reading. Freaky. Subliminal message anyone?
Now I kind of feel a little nutty. Whatever floats your boat might sink my battleship.

I have the convertible case but put my PB in the cradle charger to charge and be my alarm clock. That lets me have it naked for a game or two before going to bed and yes then it is my fondle slab.

I guess, there is nothing wrong with you... either there is something really good behind the PB tablet... or the rest of the world who find it weird doesn't find something right on that...

Do this a few times on an Ipod touch and you'll ruin the whole back <- piece of crap

I don't think those are the "gestures" RIM had in mind.
