Default Since upgrade to .668 can't connect to tv

My Playbook used to connect to my tv via hdmi but now after the .668 upgrade it doesn't anymore. If i connect them it doesn't get the signal.

Is there anyway to get that back?

I also rebooted but still no connection. So then i tried to do a security swipe but when installing back it updates the software and downloads and installs .668 again.

I hope they soon come with an update so i can hook my Playbook back again on my tv.

this my be obvious, but make sure you have changed the source of the input for your tv. i do not believe an update will fix your problem. I have not heard of many with tv connection problems do to updating to .668
    I hope this helps.

I thought the same thing.... But after reading this thread now I'm thinking is related to the update, one is okay, two may be coincidence, but three? I'm the number 3 so far having problems connecting to the tv. My hdmi cable is in perfect condition,so I think the Imo got a point

I haven't tried on mine but I don't do it often anyway. Other than that .668 has been the best OS so far for me.

    I hope this helps.

After seeing this thread, I just tried all 9 of my Playbooks, and the HDMI out to TV works just fine on them all.

I did another security swipe and now with the Playbook connected to the TV and it works again.

Still it was a very weird issue. Yet it works now!

Maybe you could have tried changing some HDMI settings on the PlayBook to a lower resolution and then upping it one at a time.. Just maybe.. My TV connection works fine..
