I want to watch live streaming of the Tour on NBC Sports. Their feed uses Silverlight. Is there a way to get around it as I get a non compatibility error.

Silverlight is a browser plug-in by Microsoft that you can download for certain browsers on most Windows and some Mac machines with Intel processors as listed here:

I'm having this issue on my Z10 as well. Will purchasing Splashtop and remotely gaining access to PC solve this issue? Also, is Kalemsoft media player a better choice? I've read that Kalemsoft is much quicker with less buffering.

Well, I have done this. TWC website needs Silverlight to stream video so can't stream right to the PB. I have used Splashtop to stream from laptop to PB in bed. Then, power down the laptop when done. I have also used Splashtop to PB to get HD content on a HDTV that doesn't have a cable box. There is some lag and buffering. I think Kalemsoft just plays video files, no streaming.
