Is there a setting somewhere to force the playbook to always displays the version of the keyboard that comes up when you have to enter in a password? That would be super, especially for fields such as postal code that are a mix of letters and numbers.

Sadly not, I have looked for such an option and found nothing Maybe RIM will add it in a future update
