Hi,
Can anyone share their Shaw Mail POP/SMTP settings? for Kelowna/Penticton BC, I'm having a terrible time trying to figure out these names and settings?

I also had some problems setting up some of my accounts (shaw being one of them). Here are my settings. Hope it helps!

Server address: pop.shaw.ca
Port: 110
SSL: Off

SMTP server address: mail.shaw.ca
SMTP port: 25
SMTP encryption: off

edit: in another post a user suggested using shawmail.cg.shawcable.net for the smtp server address. I tried playing around with it earlier but mail.shaw.ca worked for me in the end.

try shawmail.ok.shawcable.net for both
port numbers if needed are:
incoming 110, outgoing 25

It comes up with an error SMPT server mail.shaw.ca port 25 does not support authentication?

The key to getting Shaw to work is leaving the SMTP username and password fields blank.

You might to call Shaw support. i've had similar trouble in past and they have been a great help.

YES! that worked along with using rmah's settings.

thankyou all so much. I was really getting frustrated with getting this account set. I am getting happier, now a few issues to get resolved.
