When I access Settings/About/Network on my Playbook, there is no entry/description (nothing!) in the WiFi column/line!! (The "WiFi" is in a darker black however). Can someone explain there being no entry in this area? And is it an issue I need to resolve?

Mine doesn't have anything listed either, but I don't think it means anything. Are you feeling like it should say/list something? Maybe it's just there to say "Hello! I'm using wifi!"? Well, in mine has IPv6, IPv4 and MAC Address. I find it very strange if it shows nothing. But if it's working then this is what really matters I guess.

EDIT. I am by no means a network wizard but I was wondering if your router has been set to hidden, maybe it also hides this kind of info from devices.

Strange indeed! I also have IPv6, IPv4 and MAC Address in there, you should have something!

If you mean to the right of where it says Wifi then, yes there is nothing there. But below wifi, you should have the three other items listed as others have mentioned.

If you had a 4G PlayBook there would be another bolded heading for that. The Bold is the heading the items are below.

Thank you all for your responses/suggestions etc. I do,indeed,have entries such as ipv6 et al below the "highlighted" WiFi on the left of the pages! As suggested, there may be nothing to the right because it is simply a column/section Header or title?
