I would just send it to rim for repair. Rim charges flat fee for any repair. Including crack screen I think

The price I've read about varies by gigabyte size - odd but that's what I've read. I don't know for sure.

Rim replacing a screen you could just go buy a new one for the cost. Considering I could buy a 32gb for $120 new your broken one wouldn't be worth much.

New glass with digitizer is only $35 if you just want to fix it yourself.

iRepair in Toronto is charging $100 to replace PB broken glass. 16GB gently used PBs are selling on CL for $80. Does anyone know RIM's pricing for the glass replacement?

I don't think they do glass repair ( RIM) they will just exchange your for a new , reconditioned or fixed one.

Not worth sending to RIM to fix. I normally charge around $60 to replace broken frame/digitizer. I do buy broken playbooks as well.
