    So is it safe to surf/download, play games or use apps on the PB when it is in development mode and or it is in development and apps are being installed i.e DDPB installer is running and applications are being installed ????

    Sure it is, just make sure not to screw anything up us all.

    You can even build a racing game if you want and blow away iphones and android devices.

    I'd assume it's safe. Our two PlayBooks are in development mode pretty much permanently without problems. Installing new apps still asks for permissions as usual.

    yes its safe. dev mode doesn't change anything. simply gives you another feature.
