I have a rooted Droid 1 and a rooted Droid X. I can wireless tether my Blackberry Playbook just fine with the Droid X but not with the Droid 1. The Playbook simply won't see the wifi from the Droid 1.

Any ideas as to why it won't work with my Droid 1??

i know this may sound stupid and im not really familiar with how the droid menu goes for turning it on, but are you sure the droid 1 is showing the SSID because i know with most routers you can hide it.

Well my Droid X can see the wifi from my Droid 1, so yes its def working.

change the SSID. it's possible that theres a character that currently the PlayBook doesn't like, like _* �⅚四௹

i cant connect to mine on my rooted tbolt. worked fine before vzw pulled it
