Rim gone in 2013???

Just read this and was wondering what you guys here think of this? I, for one, do not believe it will come true.

Maybe in 2103, but not in 2013

There seems to have been such a turnaround in the business this last 12 months I cannot believe this would happen

Nah, in 2103, BlackBerry (they will have assimilated the QNX name by then) Neutrino version 25 will control the first anti-matter injection engines that will allow humanity to reach neighboring stars and discover the first alien life that kills off humanity by 2194. However, the alien life forms that destroy us will be so impressed by BlackBerry Technology that they will adapt it for their own needs and BlackBerry will out live humanity.

You forgot to mention the head of Thorsten Heins will be suspended in a special liquid inside a bell jar as he continues his reign over RIM. < cough, cough >

I was told by a friends friend that Tim Cook preOrdered his BB10 device already to build the iphone 9.
When this is done Apple will partner with microsoft to create WindOSX 10BB
This ofcourse will be a great succes and then they will try to buy rimm. I dont think that it will succeed in 2013.

There won't even be cell phones in 2103, there.will be neural implants that can access the net. As for 2013, I'm not worried about RIM. BB10 alone will get them through at least another year or two, then they may not be leading the way, but will be back in the conversation

Even if the YEAR were correct, since there's nothing I can do about it, I won't worry too much. I guess I could do a bit - purchase a bb10 phone but, frankly, my upgrade will not be till March 2014, paying full price is not doing a LITTLE bit.

edited to add: for those reading this thread, the original thread title had the year "2103" which is why some of the references to that year!

I was watching Good Morning America this morning and they had an "expert" on to discuss all of the latest and upcoming technology for 2013. Windows was mentioned, a possible Apple TV, and some game console systems as well. Absolutely no mention of RIMM anywhere and the big event is in 30 days! What gives?!
