Is RIM going to fix the Facebook profile picture error?
So is RIM going to fix the Facebook profile picture error or we do have to wait until BB10 lands on the PlayBook to have a usable FB app?

Idk but you would probably have a better chance of getting an answer if you contact someone from RIM. For example :@BlackBerryDev or @BlackBerryhelp. I seriously doubt anyone here in the forums knows the answer to your question.
I waited...It launched...Im still waiting...

Re: So is RIM....
I'm anti apple , and pro bb....but last night I used an iphone 4s, which had nocell service or simcard, and I had the cleanest video chat with a friend via Facetime, using only wifi!!! and the apps intergration with the phone was sooomuch better,,..I was ready to sell my 2 playbooks for another iphone 4s... buuut...I have faith that bb10 will take a huge dump on apple and android....or so I hope....if not, sorry rim, I cantdeal with anymore of the bb glitches, wasted way too much time learning out to fix issues.
I just had my first RIMISM today!!!! - 12-26-2012, 05:13 PM #4
Oh, I dont know, I kinda like the silhuette profile pics , adds a bit of mystery... lol
seriously, ive had my PB for 12 months now, very happy with it, ive had my ups and downs with it, I tried out the ipad mini when it came out, very nice , smooth user interface, it was better than I thought it would be...... BUT, I just cant be locked into the apple system, I want my tablet to play whatever music files i put on it, same with video files, just dont want to have to ask itunes every time i want to put media on my phone or tab.

Exactly. The app at first wasn't so great compared to the ones in the other platform, but now it's just useless. I can't even see the pictures my friends are sharing. It has been more than 2-3 weeks and still no reply from RIM about when they're going to fix it or do they even plan to fix it.

Has anybody had issues looking at FB pictures on their BB phones? I have (using socialscope) and I wonder if the problem is related to this one?

The profile pic error has been there for about 6 months now. I have side loaded FB to my Z10, so I will try that on my PB.

I'm not sure it's RIM's problem actually... FB developped this application for the PB, maybe you should contact them instead.

BlackBerry layoffs huge manpower, remember? That person you are trying to contact maybe of them... and that explain the "silence"...
