try doing a security wipe (under options, security menu) and that should reload the OS and give you appworld.

Where did you get the Playbook? Where are you located? Is the Playbook a wifi only model or a cellular model?

im in colorado its 4g and wifi i bought it on ebay

The updates for the cellular models are controlled by the carriers, not Blackberry. Are you planning on getting a sim card for it from one of the majors?

Do i need a sim card if Im only using the wifi?
