    I recently purchased a PlayBook from ebay and the unit refused to turn on forever and the software seemed to be stuck with no icons other than the browser.

    Another oddity was the the charging LED Was staying on even after I got it to boot. I did a restore from Link and seems to have solved the software issue but the LED remains on constantly.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Can't really help you with your particular problem, but unless you bought it dirt cheap or as an as is sale, I would return it.
