On my playbook, when I receive an email it shows up in yellow which means it is unread. I click my finger on it, then click off, which should turn it to "read" but sometimes it takes over 3 minutes and a bunch of clicking to do this, even if I use the "mark as read" button. Same with deleting. I have to keep pressing delete over and over for minutes to make the email delete. I have a strong wifi connection when I do it so that's not the problem.
Any ideas why this happens and if anyone else is experiencing this?

I've never seen tbis myself but usually a hard reset will fix most odd problems.

Simultaneously hold down both volume keys and the power button until the display goes completely blank and the red notification light comes on.

I'm having the exact same issue, it's pretty annoying, if I delete my facebook account from the "messages" app, it stops doing it though....
