i understand the difference between those two, the only thing im still comfuse is that over the bridge i will able to use the PB browser, or i need to theter to get the connection.

The bridge is for mirroring the functions of your handheld.

Tethering is for data transfer from a network. Which is what is required for browsing.

so you can't mirror the browser of the blackberry to use it on the PB so you don't need to tether....

No. I should have been more specific. The basic bb functions like email and docs to go will be mirrored.

Look , if you live in the US and you want to tether, you'll have to pay for it. The playbook will be no exception.
