that wont happen... a beta, maybe.. the real deal.. not before the official launch of the actual platform.. a functional beta (one that we mere normal people could use) would be awesome though!

If rumours that internally BlackBerry OS 10 has been running on the BlackBerry PlayBook for at least 6 months they should be ready to ship the public release this month. But we all know in our hearts that there will be no BlackBerry OS 10 for the BlackBerry PlayBook announcement during this month's launch event. You are right, a complete release of BlackBerry OS 10 would be a fantastic surprise.

Not gonna happen. There is a scheduled update for PlayBook but it's still a few weeks away and no one knows if it will simply be maintenance with new BlackBerry world replacing appworld or BBM Native....Hmmmmm that would hold me over until BlackBerry10

One thing I have learned reading CrackBerry is that many posters have friends at RIM and 99.9% of the time the people at RIM that they know don't know jack! LOL

How many SIM equipped playbooks are there out there? Seems to me that RIM would want to keep the phone carriers happy by giving them first shot at upgrading these. Which Thursday was that?

They also confirmed numerous times the PlayBook will get BlackBerry10, it's just that there has been no date announced......YET, however I can assure you that it won't be Thursday. Besides BlackBerryScoop already has BlackBerry 11 on his 10 inch PlayBook running a Skype/Netflix hybrid app that allows you to watch movies with friends from anywhere in the world and he says that he misses os 2.1.
