    I downloaded VBAm but whenever i try and open it, it just opens up my playbook tray(not sure if its called this but the main screen for the playbook) and closes it but does nothing,ive even put roms in the GBA folder but nothing has worked so far

    Same here. It was working even few months ago, but right now there's nothing that can be done by us.
