I know I do this a lot but here are dates for official PlayBook updates we have received since its official launch. I'm just posting it to give a better idea of when they usually release.

You can see they always come on weekdays around Monday or Tuesday. Also, they're usually within a months span. I would say to look for it Mon/Tues of this coming week but that's just a guess.

1.0.1.1710 - Thurs 4/21/11

1.0.3.1868 - Tues 5/3/11

1.0.5.2304 - Tues 6/7/11

1.0.6.2390 - Mon 6/20/11

You should include time as well.

Most of the updates were midnight EST except the last one which was 5:00PM EST.

Version numbering normally proceeds like: 1.0.7, 1.0.8, 1.0.9, 1.0.11, 1.0.12...

X.1.X would indicate a major change, possible additional functions, possibly bridge programs like SMS etc.

2.X.X would probably mean a UI change or major overhaul, probably wont be seeing one for sometime if ever.

i think you forgot an update, cause we got one on a saturday night, the one that addressed the flash security update. i remember everyone was surprised and impressed that rim would push an update over the weekend and not just wait till monday. i could be wrong tho. lol

i had a random flash player update yesterday, and another today. the os is now 1.0.6.2390

this has been discussed a million times.

if you delete a core 'app' like the aol, yahoo, gmail etc. icon it will prompt you to update and will reinstall those things you deleted.

I didnt delete a core app. i havent deleted anything in 2 weeks, and it still updated. all it did was give me 2 app worlds

Something happened then, as 1.0.6.2390 has been out since 6/20/11. Weird you have two AppWorld icons.
