This doesn't make sense. Every other tablet I ever used could do this. I have a couple of bookmarks that don't start with the websites name and it is very frustrating. I was hoping OS 2.0 would fix this problem. I may have to install a different browser.

    Or...write a bookmarks app.

So if the 2.0beta browser and the 2.0 official browser are the same, that would be totally hideous. I mean all those bells and whistles and then not something simple as that?

Well, we can hope that the official version when released, will address this shortcoming.

If only we could figure out how to selectively restore, maybe we could edit the bookmark component of the backup file made by DM (if DM would only work regularly at backup)

You can, of course, go to the bookmarked site, tweak the URL if desired, delete the original bookmark, then recreate it using Add to Home Screen, giving the icon a different name.

But once set, there's still no way to change it without recreating it. However, this does allow you to put multiple bookmarks into a folder or a page on the Home Screen that now allows you to sort them and keep the sort.
