I have been looking high and low for a Playbook since just before Christmas. No one seems to have any in stock (Cdn retailers). Has anyone noticed this too? Any thoughts?

Hi, there are some TheSource.ca stores that have them (at least when i searched a 200km radius of Guelph I found about 10 stores). None on-line.

I checked stock at Best Buy in Quebec last week to find another 32 GB PlayBook as they were on clearance. They were clearing the last ones in store at 89$ and, unfortunately, they sold the last one in stock at the store I went to just before I got there. The PlayBook was also removed from their inventory. It's safe to say retailers are getting rid of an almost two years old product.

At least, I managed to get a journal case for 5$ after price match! They were still selling the case 60$ while The Source has it for 10$.

Have you tried Walmart? They are not in stock online, but some of the stores have them in stock.

But if that were the case, why bother introducing BB10 to it at all.... hmmmmm
There must be a new product in the pipeline somewhere that can leverage a BB10 rollout - other than the cell version I hope!

I don't think that's likely. It's my guess that they are running out of stock.

They won't release a new OS old 2 year old hardware.

I saw the playbook back on the shelf today at a local radio shack for 199 USD. But it didnt list the size
I asked if they had a blackberry charger and she said no. So, I'm guessing this is the unsold one that still it there.
